Seasoned Hearts

This is the place! A place where parents can laugh, visit, learn and share with other parents the joys and blessings of raising happy, confident children in today's world. Parenting is not something you do alone and when you are needing a little help or advice why not ask the parenting experts?

I come from a family of seven siblings and we never had a dull moment. Our parents provided a very loving, disciplined, spiritual, and fun filled home. I have truly adored children since my pre-school years and I still adore them today...some years later. They are our future and I invest a lot of time in providing them with laughter, fun, and precious childhood memories.

A Prayer Generates a Smile

Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When little Logan received his plate, he started eating right away.

"Logan, wait until we say our prayer," his mother reminded him. "I don't have to," the little boy replied. "Of course you do," his mother insisted, "we say a prayer before eating at our house."

"That's at our house,"Logan explained, "but this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook."

Hi Vicki Durr, I've been hunting for some good sites about "teen parenting ". I found this site on teen parenting , which had some interesting articles, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. And then I came across your "A Prayer Generates a Smile". Great blog - it kept me reading for a while! So I thought maybe you might have some ideas on good sites to visit? I'll come by again to see. If not, don't worry, but thanks for reading anyway. Keep up the good work.
